In becoming a member of Bray Sailing Club for this event, we will collect certain information about you which will include your name, date of birth (if under 18), Sail number, email address, address, telephone number, and names of Irish Sailing affiliated clubs that you are a member of. Where necessary, we will also record medical information necessary to ensure competitor safety by race management. We will record competitor race results throughout this event. Your information will be used for insurance purposes, and race and result management.

For competitors under 18, we also record the name and phone number of a parent or guardian in case we need to contact you in the event of an emergency.

We make public competitor lists and results information which may include your name, club affiliation, sail number and race data. Such data is published on our notice boards, our website, various social media channels and may be shared with the press.
We may share competitor information with governing bodies for sailing and with performance rating bodies as well as with our insurers.

We do not share your data with sponsors, advertisers or sell your data to any third parties.

Any queries on Bray Sailing Club’s processing of personal data should be raised with the Membership Secretary. This includes:
•       Requests for information on what data we hold on the member.
•       Requests for a copy of the personal data held.
•       Requests for correction or rectification of data held.
•       Requests to restrict further data processing.
•       Requests for data erasure, subject to any legal obligations that may apply to the club.

I accept that the participation of the above-named boat in this event is in every respect at my sole and exclusive risk.

I indemnify the Organising Committee, Bray Sailing Club, its Trustees and Officers, members, servants and agents in respect of all claims and demands of whatever nature which may be made upon them in connection with or howsoever arising from participation or intended participation of the above boat in the Regatta.

I acknowledge that the Organising Committee, Bray Sailing Club and its Trustees and Officers, members, servants and agents accept no responsibility in respectof loss of life, personal injury or loss of or damage to property which I or any other person may sustain by reason of the participation or intended participation of the above-named boat in this event or howsoever arising in connection with this event.

I confirm that I have adequate Insurance for the above boat in respect of third-party liability. I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the rules of Bray Sailing Club and by any other rules that govern this event.
