We, the undersigned, stand united with the Cook County Corrections Coalition (C4) in its mission to advocate for the rights, safety, and well-being of correctional officers and staff within Cook County. Recognizing the critical role these professionals play in maintaining justice, security, and order, we commit to supporting C4’s efforts to improve working conditions, promote fair policies, and enhance operational practices.

Our Pledge:

  • Advocacy for Fair Treatment: We pledge to support initiatives that ensure fair compensation, equitable treatment, and respect for all correctional staff.
  • Commitment to Safety: We stand for the implementation of effective safety protocols, adequate staffing, and resources necessary to protect both staff and inmates.
  •  Promotion of Mental Health and Well-being: We support programs and policies that address the mental health needs of correctional officers, providing access to counseling, stress management, and wellness resources.
  • Accountability and Transparency: We advocate for transparent operational procedures and accountability measures to foster trust and integrity within the correctional system.
  • Community Engagement: We encourage collaboration with community leaders, stakeholders, and policymakers to advance the interests and concerns of correctional staff.
