2023 Source to Sea River Clean Up Volunteer Sign-Up Form
Join thousands of volunteers across New England to clean up the Connecticut River and its tributaries: September 29-30th, 2023, as part of the annual Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup, a four state community event to clean up our rivers!

Volunteers are needed! Please register ahead of time here! Online registration is preferred. If you need assistance with registering, call the CCCD at 603-756-2988 x3012 or email info@cheshireconservation.org

Cleanup crews will work along rivers in Keene (Friday and Saturday, 9:00a-1:00p), Swanzey (Saturday only, 9:00a-1:00p) and Winchester (Saturday only, 9:00a-5:00p).

Sites include on-foot and boating locations. Volunteers should only use small boats such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, due to limited space on the river. Volunteers do not require a boat, but those on the water are encouraged to bring life jackets for all passengers. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers, and a limited amount of t-shirts for volunteers will be available! More information about specific site locations can be found at: https://www.cheshireconservation.org/s2s

Local sponsors include the Cheshire County Conservation District, the Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee, the City of Keene, Keene State College, Moosewood Ecological, NH Water Works Association Young Professionals, The Harris Center for Conservation Education, and The Winchester Conservation Commission.
