Programme Details

We are excited to announce the launch of the BRICS CCI WE Global Women Entrepreneurial Leadership Programme (GWELP), a transformative initiative aimed at empowering women professionals and entrepreneurs from BRICS nations and other friendly countries through a comprehensive mentorship and learning module.

Mentorship is crucial, especially for women entrepreneurs, as it significantly enhances their chances of success. Reports show that mentored entrepreneurs have a survival rate double that of non-mentored small enterprises. With this in mind, BRICS CCI WE has designed a three- month programme, offering mentorship, global exposure, and knowledge-transfer webinars and roundtables.

The inaugural three-month intensive programme witnessed the participation of esteemed mentors and speakers such as Smt. Kalpana Sharma, Ms. Nicole Nguyen, Ms. Jenny Chen, Ms. Noopur Jhunjhunwala, Ms. Nidhi Goyal, Ms. Debjani Mookherjee, Ms. Shivani Kapoor, and Mr. Sanjeeva Shivesh. The programme was developed in association with sheatwork and ThinkStartup.

For the forthcoming sessions during 2024-25, BRICS CCI has partnered with Nippon Paint India. Applications for this programme will be invited from across BRICS nations and other friendly countries. Eminent names from across the network will serve as mentors and speakers.

Highlights of the programme include a six-month hybrid learning cum mentorship module, one-on-one mentoring sessions, 60+ learning and mentoring hours, and incubation grants for the top five participants. The programme fee is INR 25,000.

If you are a woman entrepreneur or intrapreneur with 1-2 years of experience aiming to expand your global horizon, we encourage you to apply.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the interview and their overall application.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Women Leadership Programme, you must:

· Be a woman

· Have at least 2 years of work experience (as a professional or entrepreneur)

· Be proficient in English

Programme Dates

The Women Leadership Programme will start in July 2024 (exact date to be communicated later). The programme will be held twice in a week.

Application Fees

Applications would be invited from across countries for joining the inaugural program at a nominal cost of INR 25,000/ $ 300 only.
