Protest for Freedom - August 15, 2021
We are developing a campaign to coincide with the day India celebrates independence — August 15, 2021.

We are creating key messages and protest materials, so that organizers in any part of the world can convey a unified message. We are also providing resources to engage media organizations.

Our goal here is to move from moderate awareness of the issues in India, towards international pressure to stop human rights violations, the jailing of journalists and the violent suppression of dissent. Through this, our hope is that not only are the 3 farm laws repealed, but there is greater international media scrutiny on India as we move forward.
