Access to the technology in the Floodwood School District has been established for educational purposes. All technology equipment and internet is for classroom-related work and educational purposes only. Any other use will result in loss of privilege to use school-owned devices and/or internet access. The use of the Floodwood School District’s electronic technologies is a valued resource to our community. All electronic technologies must be used in support of the educational program of the District. This access may be revoked at any time for abusive or inappropriate conduct related to the use of electronic technologies. Failure to comply with the District’s Bullying Prohibition Policy (#514) and Internet Acceptable Use Policy (#524), or the guidelines stated in this document for care and use of the iPad/Chromebook may result in the loss of privilege to take the Tech Device or use the Tech Device in general.
The tech device is the property of Floodwood Public Schools and as a result may be seized and reviewed at any time. The student should have NO expectation of privacy of materials found on a school issued device.

District-issued technology and accounts are provided to students for educational purposes only.
The purpose of an iPad/Chromebook is to enhance and improve the educational outcomes of a diverse student population.
They are not to be used for personal purposes not related to school.
The annual cost applies to all students in K-12.
Tech fee $25
Damage Fee to fix or replace the chromebook $150
