About the Survey: The Bharat Survey for EdTech (BaSE), a biennial survey launched in 2022 by Central Square Foundation (CSF), brings the voices of low-income users into national and global EdTech discourse by providing ​valuable data on technology access, user sentiment, and EdTech adoption. In its first instance conducted in 2022, the survey reached 6,030 households across six states. 

BaSE 2.0 (2025), in addition to providing insights on usage, access, and sentiment on EdTech among low-income households (the scope of BaSE 1.0), will also include insights on the perception, awareness and use of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially for teaching and learning. The respondent pool will be expanded to include stakeholders such as teachers and school leaders.

Objective: The objective of this consultation is to collect your insights on what you want to see covered in the survey. Your input will help us refine our data collection questionnaires and ensure the survey benefits maximum number of people and organisations.
