LIABILITY RELEASE FOR PARENTS OF EAGLE RIVER HOMESCHOOL CLASSES

In Spring 2024 (January-May), Eagle River Homeschool Classes (ERHC) will use space in The United Methodist Church of Chugiak (UMCC). Since ERHC will be operating their classes without oversight from UMCC, the church is requiring all parents of enrolled students to sign the following waiver of liability.

Liability:

The undersigned releases and agrees to hold harmless the United Methodist Church of Chugiak of the Alaska United Methodist Conderence Inc., the Alaksa Conference, and The United Methodist Church and its past, present and future members from any liability, injury, damages, loss, accidents, delay, or irregularity related to the undersigned individual's planned participation or involvement with Eagle RIver Homeschool Classes and its vendors/teachers. The undersigned has been advised and understands that school and classes, while a part of everyday life, are not without risk.

This release binds the undersigned and his/her heirs, representatives, and assignees.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING : I have read this Liability Release and fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
