Midsumma Festival Incorporated (ABN 50 783 159 198) is the event producer of the annual Midsumma Festival, a 17-day arts and cultural festival taking place in Melbourne, Australia. In 2021, due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, Midsumma Festival moved their festival dates to between 19 April - 5 May 2021, with a small amount of events taking place earlier in the year and Midsumma Pride March to take place a few weeks later, 23 May 2021.

Midsumma Festival Incorporated (Midsumma) is committed to providing a safe working environment for its staff, volunteers, artists and contractors. The goal of this induction is to:

● Provide an overview to personnel of Midsumma’s occupational health and safety policies and procedures;
● Detail contractors’ requirements and responsibilities;
● Detail Staff, Volunteers and Artists requirements and responsibilities;
● Detail COVID-19 COVIDSafe Operational Policies and Procedures;
● Ensure all personnel understand Midsumma’s Policies & Procedures, and signify their understanding of the policy by completing this induction;

The information contained in this induction is applicable for all work carried out on a Midsumma-managed site or venue. All contractors and their staff are required to successfully complete this induction prior to the commencement of any work.

This induction is only valid during and in the lead up of Midsumma Festival 2021. Due to COVID-19 there will be a select few events that fall outside the festival dates but are aligned with Midsumma Festival 2021.
