In 2018, Kevin Timmer - Assistant GM of the Kalamazoo Growlers - came home from the ballpark. As he pulled into his driveway, he took a look at his lawn and had one thought:

“This lawn is absolutely garbage.” - (Direct quote from Kevin)

So, he called Pure Green Lawn and Tree Professionals for a lawn makeover! After seeing firsthand the completed project, Kevin formed a relationship with their owner, Rick Doonan. Through a few conversations, they reached an agreement to provide this same makeover for the Growlers fanbase.
