We have an amazing opportunity to serve our community together by going into downtown Canton with boxes of food for any families in need! This outreach opportunity will take place simultaneously with our Saturday food box pack out — and we’d love for you to be a part of it!
Going into our community with food boxes to share the love of Jesus is important for several reasons—both practically and spiritually:
* Personal Connection: It allows for direct, human-to-human interaction. People often feel seen, heard, and valued when someone shows up at their doorstep with kindness and no strings attached.
* Demonstrating Christ's Love in Action: Jesus taught that love is not just words but action (James 2:15–17). Delivering food meets a physical need while showing compassion, which reflects His care for the whole person.
* Reaching the Isolated or Overlooked: Some people who are struggling may not seek help due to pride, fear, or lack of access. Door-to-door efforts reach those who might otherwise be missed.
* Building Trust in Communities: Regular outreach builds relationships and credibility. Over time, recipients may become more open to hearing the Gospel because they've experienced it lived out consistently.
* Following Jesus' Example: Jesus went to where people were—in their homes, streets, and villages. By doing the same, believers follow His model of ministry.
