We are looking forward to another great year of dancing! Our assistant teacher program is a great way to practice leadership skills and to understand the importance of being a role model. Part of the assistant teacher training will be learning to be in tune with the main instructors directions and becoming their extra set of eyes and hands.
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in at least one class at Movement
- Must be age 11 or older
- Must be able to attend Teacher Training. If you are unable to make the Teacher Training date, please let us know at
movementdanceandfitness@gmail.com- Attend 3-4 Meetings throughout our dance season (October, January, & March)
Assistant Teachers will not be paid, but will receive 'Movement Dance Dollars' for their hours. Their dollars may be used towards tuition, costumes, dance wear, movement wear, tights, shoes, master classes, and movement camps.
Assistant Teaching Training Day will be Monday, August 21st from 5-7 PM.
