Individual net worth, or joint net worth with that person's spouse or partner, exceeds $1,000,000, excluding the person's primary residence. Professional licensing, such as holding a license as a general securities representative (GS), investment advisor, broker-dealer, or life insurance company agent, is another criterion for determining who is an accredited investor.
