Race Dialogues 2024
Thank you for your interest in Race Dialogues! This year we're doing something different. We will be going over a book called "The Dream Clock" by Dr. Clarence Hill Jr. This book provides a structured map on how to build bridges and engage in matters and issues pertaining to Race and ethnicities.

If you have been asking:
  • Why are we still talking about race?
  • What needs to happen for things to change?
  • What else can be done around the discussion of race, culture and ethnicity?
  • What should I do after I have started learning more about coming to the table?
  • What if people are disinterested?
  • What tools can we use to help us walk through an honest conversation on race without leaving anyone bitter or shamed?
...then the Dream Clock is for you!
  • we won't spend any more time in the valley of division
  • we aren't interested in having someone to blame
  • why waste time pointing fingers when we could be using our fingers to point the way.
  • there is a better tomorrow, and you are invited.
The details:
We plan to run the series over 4 weeks, from May 12th-June 3rd. We will meet via zoom for the first 3 weeks and then gather together in-person for the 4th and final week to break bread and finish out the discussions (details to come). We ask that everyone commit to being there each week for the full 2 hours.

Please fill out the form below and we will follow up with more information about the upcoming sessions and how you can be a part of it. We are so excited to have you be a part of this journey!

Feel free to reach out to Tapiwa (tapx.mv@gmail.com) or Wendy (wendy.lee.pnp@gmail.com) with any questions or concerns! We look forward to journeying alongside you all!
