The following competitions are being organised for Indian community members and Hindi Language enthusiasts:

1. हास्य कवि सम्मेलन (Hasya Kavi Sammelan) - (18 years and above)

The event is open for people above 18 years of age.
Participants can choose any topic.
Jokes on political, state or religion or mimicry of political and social personalities is prohibited.
Time limit is 3 minutes
Reading from a paper is not allowed.
Participants should announce the topic of their poem at the beginning along with their name and age.
Scoring of the judges will be final.

Judgement Criteria:

2. कविता पाठ प्रतियोगिता (Poem recitation competition) - children aged 13 to 17 years

The event is open for children aged 13 - 17 years.
Participants should learn and recite a short Hindi poem (max 1 minute duration) based on a social issue such as - inequality, discrimination, poverty, environmental degradation etc.
Reading from a paper is not allowed.
Participants must recite the poem with proper voice modulation and actions.
Participants should announce the topic of their poem at the beginning along with their name and age.
Scoring of the judges will be final.

Judgment criteria:

3. लघु कथाकारिता प्रतियोगिता (Short Storytelling Competition) - children upto 12 years

The event is open for children aged 13 - 17 years.
Participants may choose any story with a moral theme.
Participants should announce the topic of their story at the beginning along with their name and age.
The story must be memorized and not read.
Hand movements and facial expression are allowed but dramatization is prohibited (the performer shall not use any props and shall remain in one location).
The duration of the story shall not exceed 3 minutes. Time limit shall be strictly enforced (at 2 minutes 30 second mark, a 30 second warning will be signaled by the judges).
Scoring of the judges will be final.

Judgment criteria:

4. सामान्य ज्ञान प्रश्नोत्तरी ( General Knowledge Quiz) - for all audience members
