J Meals on Wheels Volunteer Interest Form
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us! Meals on Wheels is a phenomenal program that makes a tangible difference in our community. We have 31 routes that deliver 2,000 meals to over 500 homebound older adults every weekday, and volunteers are the ones who make it happen. We also have 4 weekend events each year, and welcome cat and dog food donations year-round to help care for our client's furry friends!

We always need support for our normal meal deliveries M-F. Pickup is at 10:15am and routes usually take 1-2 hours. We welcome regular, weekly volunteers as well as those who can help out every once in a while. To drive with us, you must:  

  • Be 18 or older 

  • Have a valid driver’s license  

  • Have valid car insurance 

  • Pass a background check (we request it online & pay for it) 

  • *If you’re under 18, you’re welcome to tag along with a parent/guardian who meets the above criteria. Our clients love when youth join in!
