Owing to unforeseen circumstances, the dates for the event have been revised and pushed to 12TH NOVEMEBER and we have decided to reopen registration. Come watch an intricately strung together film followed by an interactive discussion.
Join us for a fun and interactive movie night where we screen The Namesake, a movie based on Jhumpa Lahiri’s award-winning novel. After immersing yourself in the heartfelt story that Lahiri writes about, get ready to take a small look into your own identity with reference to your cultural heritage, geographic upbringing and self-image. How do you see yourself with reference to the outside world? What do people around you assume you stand for just by taking one look?
