The Nomadic College chapter 3, 2023 will take place in Massachusetts's, U.S.A.
It will run for two weeks, from October 1st- October 15th, 2023.
The Nomadic College (NC) offers a methodically designed curriculum and focused environment for the study of the Axis Syllabus (AS), a trans-disciplinary research and training platform. The
AS is born of an emergent, educational initiative to provide an accessible reference system for practical human anatomy and physics as they apply to training, rehabilitation and the art of dancing. The
NC offers an intensive context for embodied practice, physical training as well as theoretical discussion, inquiry and creative expressions.
The Nomadic College is excited to be returning to Earthdance: an arts, dance, movement organization and retreat center in Western Massachusetts. The world's longest running intentional community dedicated to Contact Improv dance, Earthdance welcomes guests from around the world to engage in events that center movement, embodied practice, and collaborative art making.
Please note: Payment for housing and meals for this event will go through Earthdance, while payment and registration for classes will go through Nomadic College.
