Creative Writing: From Here to There: Journeys, Travels, and Changes

In this class we will explore the idea of journeys, both inward and outward, and then write fiction and memoir about some of the important journeys we have taken in our lives. Remember, one does not have to have traveled to have journeyed!  Many of us think of travel and we think of a train journey or trek across a foreign land or up a mountain, but the last two years have changed things. What does it mean to "travel" during isolation? How do we depart our circumstances during lockdown? What kinds of journeys do we take when we don't actually go anywhere?

 

This class meets virtually on Thursday, 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Class dates: January 13 - March 10

Class location: All  classes online.

If the class agrees we can schedule an in-person class to introduce ourselves.
