Colorado Queer Comedy Festival 2024 Performer Application

ABOUT: 
Join us for the uproarious Colorado Queer Comedy Festival on October 3-6, 2024 sponsored by Out Boulder County! CQCF is the hottest LGBTQIA+ comedy showcase in the state, featuring top-notch comics from all over the globe.

  • SUBMISSIONS: open April 20, 2024 -- closed July 1, 2024
  • PERFORMER SELECTIONS: August 1, 2024
  • SHOW DATES: October 3-6, 2024
SUBMISSION FEE: 
  • Submission fee = $20
  • Please send submission fees to OBC through their donation web portal: DONATE HERE 
  • If you are having a hard time affording the submission fee, please contact CQCF organizers directly (queercomedy@outboulder.org) for instructions on a need-based waiver. 
NOTES:
  • Please note that this is an LGBTQIA+ showcase. While we accept applications from anybody, this festival has the goal of amplifying queer voices. There is additional demographic information asked in this form as the producers and sponsors want to prioritize DEIB and accessibility in the candidate selection process. These sections are optional. 
  • Performer pay is $10 per minute of performance content. Feature sets will consist of 10 minute blocks and headline sets will consist of 20-30 minute blocks. 
  • JUDGING is done anonymously by a group for anonymous LGBTQIA+ community members. 
  • Funds from this festival (submission fees + ticket sales) go straight to: paying performers, covering costs of the event, and funding youth programming for the coming year.
