SLCE Statewide Internet Connectivity Survey
This survey is being conducted to find out how many Louisiana students and families are connected to the internet and is part of SLCE’s Digital Redlining Campaign. Digital redlining is the systemic denial of technological services due to students and their families living in low-socioeconomic areas. Respondents must be 18 years or older. The data collected will not be used or sold to any corporation for purposes of marketing/sale of goods or services.
The South Louisiana Coalition for Education (SLCE) was formed in 2015 by a group of community educators that noticed something concerning: the policy decisions being made on behalf of our students needed greater input from those with a direct stake in schools. Once the survey is completed, SLCE will report findings in aggregate and anonymously to drive a student-centered policy agenda to ensure ALL Louisiana students have access to the internet and the virtual learning opportunities that have become critical during the COVID 19 pandemic.
This survey will take 2-4 minutes.
