OHCHS Vision of a Graduate Community Survey
Dear Oxford Hills parents, alumni, community members, and business leaders,
A team made up of students, parents, teachers, and community members is in the process of writing a Vision of a Graduate for Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School as part of our reaccreditation process. We want to capture the most important skills or qualities you think a graduate of OHCHS should have when they walk across the stage at the end of senior year. Please rank the top five options, in your opinion, from the list below in order of how important you think they are, from your 1st choice to your 5th. Leave the other five options blank. If you're not sure what the choices mean, here are descriptions that may help:
Citizenship: We are active members of our community and participate in improving our school, community, and society.
Collaboration: We work well with all kinds of people to meet common goals.
Communication skills: We can speak and write clearly and effectively and listen to the perspectives of others.
Creativity: We can think outside the box, be original, and be inspired.
Empathy, Compassion, and Kindness: We understand and respect that everyone has a right to their own views and feelings and seek to understand and support others.
Grit and Perseverance: We work through struggles and difficulties and don't give up.
Honesty and Integrity: We are truthful and have a strong sense of right and wrong that we try to follow.
Mental and Physical Health: We understand that our happiness depends on developing the tools to be mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy.
Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: We can find information, tell whether it is accurate, and use it to solve problems in our lives, work, and communities.
Responsibility and Work Ethic: We work hard to meet our goals and take care of our responsibilities.
