Hiking the Wapack Trail to Binney Pond and Pratt Mountain
Apr 27 (Sat)

Join longtime hike leaders Brian Bishoff and Denny Wheeler for a strenuous, 3.7-mile roundtrip hike with outstanding views along the Wapack Trail in New Ipswich. This out-and-back hike will take us along an abandoned road and well-maintained trail through conservation land, past the lovely Binney Pond to Pratt Mountain. The climb will sometimes be steep, with approximately 770 feet of elevation gain. Bring lunch and plenty of water, and come prepared for spring conditions, including mud and insects. Meet at 10 a.m. at the parking area at the end of Binney Hill Road (not West Binney Road) in New Ipswich. Back by 2 p.m. For more information, contact Brian or Denny.
