Composers of Color Analysis Meeting
Once a month, we host an analysis event over Zoom focused on music by composers of color. We are working to compile resources for classroom music theory teaching, including examples of specific music-theory topics, from fundamentals to chromatic harmony and form, which we have been populating in this Google Sheet [https://bit.ly/CCRPExamples]. Over the long term we plan to post public domain scores, as well as analytical notes, possible lesson plans, and links to biographical and historical context on Humanities Commons at this site: https://composersofcolor.hcommons.org.

If you are interested in attending in the future, please fill out the quick Google Form to join our mailing list. We hope you’ll join us soon—there’s plenty of music to explore!
