In March 2023, a working group for the Neighbourhood plan comprising from some members of the council and Parishioners was formed.

Preparing a Neighbourhood Plan gives us the opportunity to set planning policies relating to the use and development of land in the Parish. It will help guide development, rather than to prevent it. Policies can cover a range of local issues such as where new homes, shops or offices should go and what green spaces should be protected. It will be used to determine planning applications alongside national planning policy and policy set by Swale Borough.

Now we need to better understand our community thought on the current state and desired future of the parish. By answering the questions below you will help us prepare a vision for the area & identify the plan’s objectives which will form the basis of the plan.
