Synopsis:
Join us on Thursday, August 13, 2020 for the International Urban Tech Expert Forum hosting the First ASEAN Berlin Smart City Dialogue. This edition will focus on Urban Data Platforms.
The International Urban Tech Expert Forum seeks to bring together experts in the field of Urban Tech, urban planning and design as well as architecture to discuss a variety of innovation themes in the field of urbanism and technology. An international perspective is sought in order to elucidate the spectrum of solutions on the global scale: the heterogeneity of cities and their respective drive to seek local solutions to their most urgent challenges will be explored in a multidisciplinary fashion.
URBAN DATA PLATFORMS: Smart cities run on data. Leading cities and tech pioneers are trying to identify ways to collect and use urban data securely and while doing so addressing transparency and privacy issues. How do we enable cities to manage this urban data to elevate everyday city life, provide better services, and create new revenue streams? This edition of the ASEAN Berlin Smart City Dialogue shall have a look at approaches from Berlin and ASEAN cities.
