West Coast Athletic Club Membership Registration Form - 2023

Thank you for joining West Coast Athletic Club!

Please note this is a THREE STEP PROCESS, all 3 steps are compulsory:

1. Complete THIS form, for the club membership database. EVERY member joining the club must submit this form, irrespective of membership package (couple, family, etc)

2. Make payment ONLINE at https://westcoastathleticclub.co.za/shop/.

3. Update / complete your ASA registration and print the "Member FORM" from your profile to hand in when you collect your license. This is a legal requirement for all SA athletics club members! Go here: http://asa.saclubs.co.za/

Your license bibs can be collected from the club on Tuesday evenings, or by special arrangement with the Membership Captain.

This is a fun part of being a club member, it's about giving back where so many others do the same for us at races. Events include the Battle up Blaauwberg trail, West Coast 21km, 10km & Fun Run and the WCAC support stations at Puffer & UTCT. It's not compulsory, though it would be great if we can call on you at the time to help out!

Please note: if you are joining as the Family Membership (2 adults + 2 Juniors), please enter the adults as a COUPLE below and enter each Junior separately under the JUNIOR category.

This form MUST be completed for EVERY family member joining the club. When you go to the payment portal the correct price for Family Membership or Couple Membership will be available, you only need to pay once irrespective of the number of family members.

STEP TWO - Payment

Please follow the link on the confirmation screen after you click "Submit" to make payment.

Choose your membership and proceed to checkout, PLEASE ENSURE IT CORRESPONDS TO YOUR OPTION ON THIS REGISTRATION FORM.

For yours and our security we strongly advise membership payments to be done online through the secure payment gateway.

Credit/Debit card, Zapper Online and EFT options are available for payment. NO CASH please, we are going cashless for security! Payment needs to be made BEFORE collecting your license, this will need to be verified online.

If you pay by EFT, your Proof Of Payment will need to be printed and handed in with your printed ASA form when collecting your license. No POP, no license!

STEP THREE - ASA Registration

You need to register or update your profile on the ASA (Athletics South Africa) website, AND print the "Member form".

1. Make sure that you have signed up online with ASA as your number cannot be registered without a profile on the ASA site. If completed last year, you need only check your details and update any changes required.

2. You need to print the "Member Form", (link in green on the top of your ASA profile once completed) and bring it with you when you collect your number. It is an ASA legal requirement that SA clubs retain hard copies of members ASA registrations for minimum 5 years. If you forget to bring your form you'll need to complete one manually at the club to get your license.
