Hello families. Your child is invited to attend the WKMS After School Club (ASC). The ASC meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00 until 4:00pm in room 110 (the art room). This will give your child quiet time to complete homework, organize his/her binder or locker, study for upcoming class assignments, work on classwork and/or projects, and develop good school habits. The ASC will have high school honor society students here to assist students with work completion, studying skills, and organization. Our goal is to help students better navigate the years in middle school so that everyone feels best prepared for high school. This is not a social club, hangout, or after hours care, all students must have work to be doing during club time. Students may bring a small snack with them to ASC but we ask it not be anything too messy and that it can be consumed will working. Students will be dismissed at 4pm to walk home or be picked up by a responsible adult. Students must have a completed form on file in order to stay after school. Once a form is on file students may drop in on any given Tuesday or Thursday to work.
