The 19th annual Tewaaraton Award Ceremony will be held Thursday May 30 at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC located at 4th and Independence Ave, SW. The reception begins at 6:00pm and the ceremony will start at 7:30pm. Please no interviews during the reception unless specifically scheduled and approved. Photography is allowed. Videography is not allowed unless specifically requested and approved.
We have limited space for press in the theater. You will be given seating in the theater if available. Most press credentials are standing room or theater fill in seating only. It is possible that some press may be seated outside the theater in the Atrium with ceremony viewed live on a screen, but you will be allowed in the theater after for interviews if requested.
Finalists and Special Guests are available for interviews at certain times prior to and after the ceremony. Please contact me to schedule at
