Service Agreement
1.The client agrees to give Not 2 Shaggy Housecall Dog Grooming access to a climate-controlled room for grooming, electricity and water source such as a tub or sink that is waist high on the first floor. The client also agrees not to hold Not 2 Shaggy Housecall Dog Grooming or designee liable and harmless from any claims, lawsuits, injuries, damages, losses, costs, or expense whatsoever sustained for any damage to the room, electricity, or water source as a result of the dog's or groomer's actions.
2. The area must be reasonably quiet and free from distractions.
3. Clients must cancel appointments 24 hours prior to the scheduled nail trim. If appointments are cancelled less than 24 hours the client will be charged $25.00 minimum service fee that will be added to the cost of the next appointment.
4. If the client cancels one appointment with less than 24 hours prior notice, all grooming fees will be due prior to the schedule of the next appointment.
5. An adult must always be present for the duration of the groom. Any other arraignments for key entry or grooming without client present must be obtained in writing prior to the arrival of the scheduled groom. Groomers are NOT responsible for individuals under the age of 18 and will NEVER groom unless an adult is present.
6. Grooming will stop if the dog/ cat becomes aggressive, stressed, seems to have any health conditions that interferes with grooming or for any reason the groomer deems sufficient. The client agrees to pay Not 2 Shaggy Housecall Dog Grooming the minimum charge of 10.00 if the groom cannot be completed for any reason.
7. This service at your will and at your own risk. The quick is the vein in the nail of animals during nail trims the quick can be nicked. We do our best to avoid nicking the quick, but it can happen during nail trims. Please disclose any health conditions to the groomer. Heart conditions and diabetes among other illness can be impacted by the stress of nail trims and grooms which can include death. Indemnity: The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Not 2 Shaggy Housecall Dog Grooming, designee, officers and employees from and against all claims and suits by the client or third parties for damages, injuries to persons (including death), property damages, losses, and expenses including court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of, or resulting from, Not 2 Shaggy Housecall Dog Grooming groomers or designee performance under this Agreement, including all such causes of action based upon common, constitutional, or statutory law, or based in whole or in part, upon allegations of negligent or intentional acts on the part of the Not 2 Shaggy Housecall Dog Grooming, its designee, officers, employees, agents, subcontractors, licensees, or invitees.
