Our instructor, Natalie Sax, will work at the Highschool level to address and enhance the formal essay writing process. This course will be beneficial to both the hesitant writer and the avid one. The material we use from the "Institute for Excellence in Writing: The Elegant Essay" is esteemed for producing high level writers who develop the ability to communicate confidently and effectively through their work.

Students attend class just 8 sessions over two weeks for 90 minutes each session and work in small groups, offering personalized support to meet your student right where they are at. By the end of the course, they will have developed enhanced skills at composing a strong essay for any course. They will leave the course with tips and tools for future use and a resource to revisit when school starts in the fall!

This course costs $250 and offers two choices:
10:30am-noon June 22-25 & June 29-July 1 or
10:30am-noon July 6-9 and July 13-16.
