The deadline to apply for the 2020 HUDL Summer Institute has passed. Those who fill out this application will automatically be put on a waitlist.

DUE TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS, THIS YEAR'S HUDL SUMMER DEBATE CAMP WILL BE VIRTUAL. PLEASE JOIN US JULY 13 – 17 (NOVICE TRAINING ON JULY 10) FOR A WEEK OF ONLINE LEARNING, COMMUNITY BUILDING, FUN AND GREAT TIMES WITH AMAZING INSTRUCTORS.

To be considered for the HUDL Summer Institute, you must fill out this application in its entirety. Only high school students (this includes rising 9th graders) from HISD and CASE Debates will be accepted. To complete this application, we need to collect some information from you, including your student I.D. number, phone number(s), email address, and your physical street address. You will also need to provide information regarding your debate background.

You must also provide contact information for 2 of your Parents/Guardians. This will include their phone numbers, email addresses, driver's license numbers, and their physical street addresses.

Once you submit your application, please wait for an acceptance email. Applications are on a first-come, first-serve basis. IF YOU RECEIVE AN ACCEPTANCE EMAIL, YOU MUST RESPOND WITHIN ONE WEEK OF RECEIVING IT, OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SPOT AT THE INSTITUTE.
