Feedback on NAGPRA Implementation
On May 28, Melanie O’Brien of the National NAGPRA Program publicly announced a series of six virtual meetings of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Review Committee. The meetings will be held between 3:00pm and 6:00pm eastern time on June 28, July 7, July 13, July 21, August 10, and August 19. The public is encouraged to attend.

 Specific topics for each meeting will be announced on the National NAGPRA Program website and in a notice published in the Federal Register. You can also register for more information on the meetings on the National NAGPRA Program website: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/nagpra/meetings.htm

NAPA is soliciting your thoughts regarding the implementation of NAGPRA that you would like the committee to address. We will compile them and provide them to a member of the committee prior to the meetings.
