This is an academic program as well as a scholarship for Costa Rican medical students of other nationalities who study in Costa Rica on a regular basis, who are interested in global health, who have a good command of the English language, who have good grades and who are motivated to demonstrate competences in one of the most competitive training environments in the world.

The program is designed for medical students in their final year of medical school who wish to participate in clinical clerkships offered at HMS-affiliated teaching hospitals.

Students who are accepted will have the same responsibilities and rights as a regular HMS student.

After completing the form, the student will receive a response with information about the scholarship program, as well as an appointment for an interview at the IHCAI main office in San José to consider their suitability.
