Passion Project - Rock Climbing 2021
Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Murrays Bay Primary School is dedicated to giving our students innovative and creative opportunities to learn. We understand that we learn in many different ways and from many different people. During Term 3 our entire school will be participating in different passion projects for an entire week. Your child has chosen their passion and will participate in a week of learning and growing in their chosen area. This is a fantastic opportunity for different ages of students to work together and learn from each other, while possibly working with different teachers too!
 
Your child has chosen Rock Climbing as their Passion Project and will participate in a 3 day, hands on learning experience from Tuesday, 31 August - Thursday, 2 September. This is a great opportunity for different students to work together and learn from each other while having fun!

Miss Grace Haley, Miss Ciara Tierney, Mrs Caryn Johannesson, Mr Paul Hoffman

Students will enjoy rock climbing at Extreme Edge Panmure each day. We will depart school at 9:15am and return at approximately 2:45pm. At Extreme Edge students will be introduced to basic knowledge on climbing safety, harnesses, carabiners, belay systems as well as basic climbing techniques, and body movements.

In addition to the school permission slip, Extreme Edge requires their waiver signed or students will not be allowed to climb. Please sign the waiver on the link below:

COST
The cost for the 3 days is $70.00. This MUST be paid before Friday, 27 August 2021.
This will cover the cost for transport and entry to Extreme Edge.

Payment
Online Payment is preferred.
Using your child's name, Year Level and Teachers Initials & the chosen Passion Project as reference
(eg, John Smith, Y1 CA, Rock Climbing).
