Learn to paddle outrigger with Latitude 48!   In four Saturday sessions, you'll learn how to set up OC1s (solo outriggers), the fundamentals of the paddle stroke, and how to recover an overturned boat.  Paddles, lifejackets and all the equipment you will need to learn will be provided.  Upon completion of this introductory course new paddlers will be ready to continue to the Meridian Program.
 
Course instructors will be practicing physical distancing and all participants will be required to follow the club’s COVID-19 protocols. Hand sanitizer and equipment spray are provided.  Masks are required on the docks.

Schedule:  Saturdays 2pm
Cost $80 for three 1-1.5 hour sessions (Paddlers will also need a yearly CORA membership ($30 per year)  in order to participate). **Max enrollment 6 paddlers
