The Department of Chemistry invites applications from outstanding individuals for one faculty position in Inorganic Chemistry (Assistant/Associate Professor):   This position is ideally suited to PhD holders in Inorganic Chemistry with mastery of the fundamental principles of inorganic chemistry including molecular symmetry, magnetism and inorganic spectroscopy. The successful candidate is expected to have experience and demonstrable skills to teach effectively a range of topics in inorganic chemistry at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Candidates with a proven track record of excellence in research in the specialization fields of Catalysis (with a good background in organometallic chemistry), Inorganic Materials, Solid-State Chemistry or Main-Group Chemistry, and conversant with XRD techniques, are particularly encouraged to apply. International exposure in relevant scholarly activities will be an added advantage. Candidates are expected to contribute to the expansion and strengthening of our inorganic curriculum and should have at least two years of formal teaching experience.
