Teaching artists who live in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia are eligible to win a cash prize of $1,000. Winning applicants will submit an idea that reflects their ability to activate unique creative learning opportunities with students. Applications will be adjudicated by a panel of fellow teaching artists.

To qualify, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

- Submit a viable project that you plan to implement by March 31st 2023.
- Be a resident in one of the participating conference states.

- Be a practicing teaching artist in the Mid-Atlantic region (states indicated above) and work no more than half-

time at an organization.
