RBC Junior Program: Summer Application & Fall Interest
Thank you for your interest in Riverside Boat Club's Junior Program. During the school year, this is a small sculling-only team. For the Summer 2024 season, Riverside will be accepting a larger roster and considering coxswains on a case-by-case basis. Athletes must have at least 1 year of rowing experience. Riverside Juniors are a sculling-dominant program, but athletes of all backgrounds will be considered. Athletes will be integrated into the culture and community of Riverside Boat Club.

Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. 
Program fees (as of 4/13/23) vary by season and are due upon acceptance. Please refer to the estimates below:
Spring: $3,000* (CLOSED)
Summer: $3,000* (CLOSED - ACCEPTING WAITLIST)
Fall: $3,000* (AVAIL 7/1, interest only)
Winter: $2,000 (6-sessions per week) OR $1,000 (3-sessions per week) (CLOSED)
*Tuition does not include race expenses. Please be aware race expenses will be due prior to competition.

Summer Team (CLOSED - WAITLIST OPEN)
Riverside's summer season will run from approximately Monday, June 10th to Saturday, August 16th. Practices will be held M-Fr 3:30pm-6:00pm. Optional secondary sessions will be arranged with the final roster. Times are subject to change slightly depending on athletes' schedules, club equipment availability, etc. Our main focus will be preparing athletes for the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in August. 

Race Schedule:
Independence Day Regatta: June 28th-30th.* Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA.
*Anticipate June 27 AM departure
Cromwell Cup (1k sprints): July 21st. Charles River, Cambridge, MA
Royal Canadian Henley: July 28th-August 4th.* Martindale Pond, St. Catherine's, ON.
*Anticipate July 26 or 27 departure.

Fall Team (Interest Only - applications open 7/1)
Riverside's fall season will run from approximately Monday, August 26th to Tuesday, November 19th. Practices will be held M-Fr 4pm-6:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-12:00pm. Times are subject to change slightly depending on athletes' schedules, club equipment availability, etc. Our main focus will be preparing athletes for the the Head of the Charles Regatta and the Head of the Fish Regatta.
