Family meals are the perfect time to connect with each other and share your stories of the day. Mealtime is also a wonderful opportunity to strengthen family ties and pass on family cultural traditions.
Connecting with nature through adventure activities allows you and your family to feel empowered. It also gives you the important freedom to learn and appreciate the outdoor environment. Families who spend time in the outdoors see a boost in self-esteem, self-confidence and it can improve your overall health.
Family game/craft nights provide wonderful benefits. Help your family develop strong character, promote problem solving, reduce stress, create family traditions, enhance academic skills, encourage positive communication and family bonding by holding weekly game nights.
Reducing time with devices and screens makes it easier for families to actually spend time together interacting and talking to each other face-to-face. It can also give everyone more time to go outside and get some exercise or read a book. Recently, studies have shown that cutting down on  screen time can have a positive effect on kids' physical, social, and behavioral well-being, and it can even improve their academic performance. Reducing family screen time can better your family's health.
