Hey y'all! Only Child's been a fun project of mine for a little over 2 years now, and I want to spend some time making it even better. I'd like to get more of an idea what you, my readers, enjoy about this newsletter and want from it in the future.

It should take ~5 minutes to complete, and it'll help me a ton. It's totally anonymous, and you can skip any question you're not comfortable answering. Thanks for taking the time to help me out!

1. How would you describe your relationship to Only Child?

New reader. I've skimmed a few posts but that's pretty much it.

Casual/occasional reader. I might miss a few posts new and then but I usually eat 'em up.

Dedicated reader. I eagerly consume every post.

2. You think Only Child should feature more...

Cultural Commentary (post about Kumail Nanjiani's The Big Sick, on the particulars of Indian American life, HGTV, etc.)

Personal Essays (my trip to NOLA, experience at the trampoline park, etc.)

9. Payment stuff—right now Only Child is completely free! Which is great. But say I were to partially monetize Only Child, meaning 1 post a month was available to all subscribers, and the other post was only available to paying subscribers.
