Thank you for your interest in participating in the Kodomo no Sakura Machi (Children's Cherry Blossom Village) at the 2024 Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival!

🌸 Children's Cherry Blossom Village: April 13-14 and 20, 2024, 11am - 4pm (not on Parade day, Sunday 4/21).

🌸 Festival days/hours: April 13-14 and 20-21, 11am - 6pm

🌸 Location: 1675 Post St. in San Francisco Japantown

Japantown schools and organizations are invited to participate in the Festival's Children's Area by running an activity, craft, or game for festival attendees. The purpose is to create a welcoming, safe space for children and families that will serve as a fundraiser for your school/organization, and to provide information about resources and programs in the community.

Note: We have Sanrio branded games available for community groups to use, on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups that commit to participating in all 3 days will have priority. If you're interested in using these games, please make a note in your response below. Your org would be responsible for providing prizes. Click here to see the available games.

Do you need youth volunteers?

We can recruit middle and high school volunteers to help organizations run their activities. You would need to have at least one representative from your org present to supervise the volunteers. We hope this will make committing to 3 days easier! Please indicate below if you would like us to recruit volunteers for your booth, and how many you would require per shift.
