Thanks so much for your interest in Student Initiatives Committee! Student Initiatives Committee is a committee that highlights resources for students and works with administration, the City of Ames, and with many members of our committees to provide resources and lead projects that enhance the Iowa State Experience. In the past, Student Initiatives Committee has successfully implemented standing desks in the library, brought informational programs into Senate meetings, started planning for I Love Ames, a community event bringing together both students and members of the Ames community, and recognized outstanding faculty members making an impact on the world around them. We're excited to get off and running for next year!  Keep an eye on your email for future communications. Student Initiatives requires a minimum of three senators (with a maximum of seven) and four At-Large members, who can be any student at Iowa State University.
