Shingrix (shingles) Vaccination Waitlist 2023

  • Shingrix will be on NIP from 1st November 2023 for the following groups:

    • 65 years and over

    • 50 years and over for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders

    • Eligible people who have received one dose of Shingrix® vaccine privately can receive their second dose free

    • If you had ZOSTAVAX previously, please speak to our pharmacists to see when you will be eligible

  • Cost for patient: $20 - Vaccine is FREE however there is a Vaccine Administration fee of $20

  • Interval between appointments will be 20-30 minutes

  • Shingrix requires 2 doses (2-6 months apart). Our pharmacist can book the 2nd dose appointment when you have the 1st dose
