New Teacher Collaborative Interest Form
Grow your teaching practices, build relationships with like-minded educators, expand your resource library, and contribute to a growing field of educational research!

Erin Green, Ph.D. candidate and assistant instructor at The University of Texas at Austin, is recruiting a small group of new teachers in the Austin area who are entering their student teaching year, or their first, second, or third year teaching, and are interested in growing their justice-oriented teaching practices.

We will meet monthly over the course of the 2023-2024 school year, and support each other as we develop and implement justice-oriented social studies curriculum.

Research Disclosure: Pending IRB approval, this group is a part of a research study. Participants will be asked to give formal written consent to participate in the study. Group meetings may be audio recorded. All participants will be referred to by pseudonyms in any resulting publications, and any identifying information will be removed. Participants will have the opportunity to offer feedback and direction as the project progresses.
