1. General Terms Eligibility: All items must align with our mission to provide quality Christian books, gifts, and related items. Inventory Approval: Each item is subject to approval before placement in the store. Consignment Duration: Items will be displayed for an initial period of 90 days, after which we may assess continued display or return items. 2. Pricing & Fees Pricing: Vine & Branches reserves the right to set or adjust prices to align with market demand and competitive pricing. Consignment Fee: A [see tiers X%] fee will be deducted from the sales price of each item when rung out and collected on the store point of sale.
3. Reports & Payouts Sales Reports: Sales reports are sent from e-mail, upon request. Payout Requests: Payouts may be requested once per calendar month. Consignors can request a sales report and payout by texting our store number. If no payout request is made during the month, we will assume no payout or report is needed.First-Time Payouts: First-time consignors must provide electronic transfer details or a mailing address for check delivery.Processing Time: Payouts will be processed within [14 business days] of a completed request. Canceled Checks: Should you choose a paper check, a $40.00 fee applies to any canceled checks, for any reason. A new check will not be issued until our bank completes it's research and approves credit.
4. Responsibility & Liability Loss or Damage: Vine & Branches is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items while on display or in storage. Unless specifically instructed by the store manager and subject to total loss, do not bring more than:
3 boxes of used books
3-5 copies of any one title of authored books
5 types of anyone item.
Consignor's Responsibility: It is the consignor's responsibility to maintain accurate contact information.
5. Unsold Items Pick-Up of Unsold Items: Unsold items must be picked up within 14 days after notification. Items not claimed within this period may be donated or discarded at our discretion.
6. Communication: Consignors are encouraged to come into the store to drop off labeled items and conduct their own inventory. Contact Method: Communication about consignment is conducted via text to ensure store staff is available to other storefront duties.
7. Consignment Tiers - A separate barcode is needed for each tier:
This Agreement applies to all consignors, including but not limited to:
30% to store 70% to Authors: Books must be authored by consignor, preferably signed, have barcode and price on them.
30% to store 70% to Mass Produced: Stickers, Bookmarks, Bumper stickers, Photocopied artwork or Prints of artwork.
60% to store 40% to Used Books that are Consigned books must be in good condition, no more than three bankers boxes, have used consignment account number penciled on the inside top right first page.
25% to store 75% to Artisans: Handcrafted items must meet store standards for quality and faith-based themes, have barcode labels and price on items.
50% to store 50% General Consignors: Any approved merchandise not categorized above.
