Middletown Public Library STEM Volunteer Form
Form to sign up as a volunteer 
  • By signing up you commit to volunteer for one session 
  • The Volunteer session will take place in the Middletown Public Library 
  • Every Monday from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • The remaining Mondays this semester can be chosen below
  • No need for a background check, parents will be with the students 
  • The age of the students you'll be teaching will range from 10 - 16 years of age 
  • An average of 3 - 5 students from the local area will attend each session
  • We provide the Materials for you to teach
  • You can volunteer with one person if you want a volunteer partner email  jsd5521@psu.edu

  • *Requirements* 
  • Lesson Topics: Choose any STEM-related topic to teach to teenagers
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule a quick 15-minute meeting with Jeremiah Ddumba at jsd5521@psu.edu to discuss what to expect at the session, the lesson plan, expectations, and other details
  • Partnering Options: You can have a partner while volunteering and if you want a volunteer partner email Jeremiah Ddumba at jsd5521@psu.edu
  • Lesson Style: Hands-on lessons or demonstrations are recommended to enhance engagement and learning for younger audiences
