Seeking App Professionals or Engineers for Career Panels (via Zoom)
The NYC DOE's Division of Instructional and Information Technology (DIIT) and Mouse are seeking 6-8 professionals to participate in a 1.5 hour virtual career panel for high school student interns interested in technology careers.  During the event, panelists will answer questions from students live about their jobs, their career pathway and share their advice for young people.  

Panelists will be invited to a short panelist orientation before the event (or you can watch a recording at your convenience).  

There are 2 upcoming events where we need 3-4 panelists at each:

**SEEKING APP/SOFTWARE PROFESSIONALS (developers, designers, marketing/sales, client reps, etc)**

EVENT NAME: Future Forward #3: The Life Cycle of Creating an App
WHEN: Thursday, August 5 @ 10AM-11:30AM
ABOUT: What are all of the steps of the app creation process? Meet professionals who work on apps, from designers to developers to sales/marketers and more.

OR

**SEEKING ENGINEERS (industrial, software, professors, electrical, civil, mechanical, chemical... etc)**

EVENT NAME: Future Forward #4: Engineering for Everyone
WHEN: Thursday, August 12 @ 10AM-11:30AM
ABOUT: Building bridges? Driving trains? Coding software? What actually IS engineering? This week's panelists will answer all of your burning questions about careers in engineering.
