Application to join Delta Community Voices Table
The City of Delta is working with community partners to reduce poverty in our community. We are looking for eight (8) Delta residents with living experiences of poverty to join a Delta Community Voices Table to consult City staff and service providers about how we can collectively meet the needs of people who require supports and develop a project to improve the quality of life for vulnerable residents in Delta. The group will meet 4-6 times over a 6 month period and members will be provided with honorariums of $21/hr (meetings are either in zoom or in-person). Indigenous, racialized and new immigrant residents are encouraged to apply. Please submit your application by the end of day Friday, January 24. You may be contacted for a follow up chat to better understand your interests. The tables first meeting will take place in February.
