To gauge the level of interest in the 2021 Toyota National Championships, the SSA will be seeking confirmation as to whether your MO will have interest for a team to attend the 2021 Toyota National Championships.

Your response should take into account the expected commitments of participating at a National Competition as outlined in Section 9 - Competitions. See http://www.sasksoccer.com/content/bylaws-and-policies 

The  timeline to determine a champion may be delayed by the Public Health local restrictions. This will  impact the time allotted for travel preparation for the teams declared as Champions​.

Saskatchewan Soccer recognizes that an expression of interest at this time will be subject to any restrictions placed upon teams by local authorities, therefore your MO will not face penalties should your team has to withdraw due to COVID-19-related reasons.​

Saskatchewan Soccer acknowledges  that the method by which a Champion is traditionally declared (PSL Finals/ SK Open Cup/Masters Provincials) may be different than previous editions should interest of more than 1 MO/age group exists and there is no ability to organize a competition. If that is the case, SSA will seek CSA approval of the Method of Determining the SK Champion prior to communicating it to the relevant membership. ​

Confirmation of Interest will be closed on May 13, 2021.

Following the deadline, Saskatchewan Soccer will communicate the level of interest to Canada Soccer.​

Canada Soccer will review the feasibility of staging the 2021 Toyota National Championships, discuss with the 2021 Hosts the practicalities, and provide an update by mid-June as to the status of the 2021 Toyota National Championships.
